Try this at home

Try this at home!
This week's tuff tray is all about fine motor skills practise!
A super simple activity using items lying around the kitchen! All you need is:
- Some dough or plastecine.
- Spaghetti.
- Hooped cereal or tube pasta.
Simply use some dough or plasticine as a base to support your spaghetti pieces to make a 'stick', then encourage your child to work on their fine motor skills by carefully adding there hooped item onto the stick!
You can ask questions such as :
"How many hoops can you fit onto your stick" ?
"What patterns or shapes can you create by adding hoops onto your stick"?
"Can you fill your stick all the way to the top? What happens if we add to many"?
This is a great activity to work on counting, mathmatical language, the concept of cause and effect as well as hand eye co -ordination and control.
